International internships build a global perspective while gaining professional experience.
IU and IUPUI offer a variety of international internships that award credit. Many of the programs include classroom based courses in addition to the internship. We encourage you to talk with your academic advisor to ensure that the internship structure will meet any internship requirement for your major. Required internship hours vary depending on the program.
Academic and professional internships allow you to achieve personal goals, identify your strengths, and apply your classroom knowledge to the professional world.
