Serving the IU Fort Wayne community, the Study Abroad Office is your go-to resource for information about and help with overseas experiences. Part of the Office of International Affairs, we work with students, faculty, staff, and anyone else interested in study abroad at IU Fort Wayne.
What We Do
- Provide distance advising to IUFW students interested in studying abroad
- Ensure that IUFW students are aware of IU and non-IU scholarships
- Work with partners on the IUFW campus and all over the world to provide overseas experiences that are meaningful and meet students’ needs
- Connect IUFW students with the ideal programs for their interests and goals
- Help IUFW students understand the value of international experiences, integrate study abroad into their educations, and access financial aid
- Assist program directors with planning successful experiences
- Encourage international service learning
Programs for Every Student
Any IU Fort Wayne student can study abroad. You don't even have to know a foreign language—some programs are in English-speaking countries.
